What the hell is an orgasm?

Orgasms have been defined by the following list of wonderful and exciting possibilities. The climax of sexual response, the peak of sexual tension, an emotional, psychological and physiological reaction to sexual stimulation. Involuntary contractions of the vagina, anus and pelvic floor muscles at the peak of sexual stimulation. Males can ejaculate or orgasm usually once while the female can have an orgasm with many peaks known as multiple orgasms.

Clitoral Orgasms

Any woman with a clitoris has the ability to have a clitoral orgasm. Unlike g spot or vaginal orgasm which not all women have,a clitoral orgasm seems to be the easiest way for most women to climax. This type of orgasm is easily obtainable without vaginal penetration. Rubbing, sucking, tapping, palming, there are so ways and variations to stimulate the clitoris in order to achieve an orgasm. The female clitoris contains the major nerve endings of the female anatomy. The nerves in the head of an uncircumcised male penis are similar to the amount of nerve endings of the more sensitive female clitoris. The clitoris can vary in shapes and sizes, but usually it is about the size of the woman's nipple. In some cases a clit can be as big as a small male penis. Clitoral orgasms are much easier to achieve for most women because of the amount of nerve endings that are present. The clit is very sensitive and can be easily overstimulated by too much direct stimulation. The hood of the clitoris helps keep it from getting overstimulated during masturbation and sex. Clitoral orgasms are usually accompanied by vaginal wall contractions. Studies have shown that clitoral orgasms in no way serve conception as many have speculated. Orgasms generated by clitoral stimulation are also more easily attainable without intercourse. Stimulation of the clitoris during masturbation and sex also helps release the hormone oxytocin which has been shown to combat stress, obesity, psychotic behavior and even breast cancer. In fact it has been found that the longer and stronger a clitoral orgasm is the more oxytocin is secreted into the system. This in turn has been found to decrease pregnancy rates as well. I will further cover oxytocin and its effects in the benefits of masturbating section.

Clitoral Orgasm Techniques

Fingering your clitoris is probably the most common way to achieve orgasm. Rub your lubricated fingertip around the clit. Put your finger between your labia minora (inner lips) and rub the clitoris back and forth as you slide your finger up and down. I like to take a vibrator and roll it up in a towel so that I can just barely feel it, I turn it on and swing my legs back behind me so that I am in Doggy style position then I wrap my legs around the towel so that the vibrator is pressed against my clitoral hood. I like to vary the pressure and speed of my vibrator using the tapered end.I often put some oil on it and set it on top of the towel and placing the vibrator between my pussy lips so that the tapered end is right against my clit and the rest of the vibrator is inside of my lips. I also enjoy using a butt plug while stimulating my clitoris. This usually brings an orgasm within a few minutes. If I am able to stimulate my nipples by pinching and rolling or by nipple clamps or rings, an orgasm happens even faster.

A hand held shower head is also ideal for clitoral stimulation. I cover techniques for the shower head in the masturbating with water section.

Beads or balls on a string feel great as well. Lay on your back or prop yourself up to a sitting or lounging position with pillows. Take either sex beads or a long, large beaded necklace well lubricated and and push them inside of your pussy leaving a bit to hang on to. Pull the beads out slowly, letting each bead press and rub against your clit as they pop out one by one. Using a vibrator in conjuction with beads is great for creating some extra vibration against your clitoris.

Roll up a large towel and place it on your bed or climb up on a small stack of pillows while pressing your palm against your clitoris (in between the towel or pillows).
Pleasuring yourself through palm pressure from the hand on your clitoris is a very common way to masturbate. I love to pretend I am fucking my own hand and allow each finger to take its turn inside of me while I place constant pressure on my clitoris while rubbing back and forth. Pressing or rubbing your pubic bone can add additional sensations. Along with fingers there is the never ending list of sex toys, dildos, vibrators and clitoral stimulators that can be used to help achieve orgasm.

Using large stuffed (fake) animals is great. I have a large stuffed horse that I cut a hole in and insterted a clitoral stimulator on top of the saddle. I wrap it with plastic wrap then put a bit of lubricant on the plastic over the stimulator. This is so I can slide forward and backward immediately and the plastic makes for an easy clean up too. I began to also tape two small vibrators to the outside of the horses neck so that when I ride it I can press my nipples against the vibrators. I have always believed that my nipples are connected to my clitoris!

G spot History

Female genitalia was first found described in writings as early as 4 B.C. This early text also talked about the the red and white fluids of a woman. In was not until the 1800’s that the first real mention of females ejaculating. Early 20th century scientists had gathered numerous scientific studies that showed that women only had one type of orgasm that being clitoral. Vaginal or g spot orgasms were not described in modern terms until around 1950 when a Berlin gynecologist, Ernst Grafenberg, stated in an article that women had a spot in the anterior (front) wall of the vagina, that when firmly touched or stimulated caused vaginal wall contractions and a thicker then urine fluid to secrete sometimes ejaculating outside of the vagina. An extensive study done in 1978 by Perry and Whipple demonstrated that many of the women studied were not aware the g spot even existed existed. The study also found that when the spot was stimulated it became very responsive especially with firm pressure.

G spot is not the correct anatomical term used to describe any part of the female genitalia. You can find the “g spot” described anatomically as the Skene’s (named after the physician that first described them or periurethral) glands, which is the equivalent of the female prostate also discussed as the urethral sponge. It has been a scientific debate for years as to whether or not the term g spot should even be used at all to describe the area. The term g spot is a term coined because of the study published in 1950 by gynecologist Ernest Grafenberg and is not recognized by the scientific community as the anatomically correct term.

In a study done by Emmanuele Jannini from the University of L’Aquila in Italy, 14 female cadavers were examined. They found Skene’s glands in only 12 of the 14 subjects, meaning the 2 women would have been unable to experience a g spot orgasm. This may be why some women do not ever find their g spot, because it did not exist in the first place. There still has not been enough research done on the female anatomy and science behind the g spot/ female prostate orgasm. Hopefully as we progress to be a more open minded society more research can be conducted to solve the mysteries of the female anatomy. Since the
g spot cannot be seen, it can only be palpated by hand, it has been very difficult to study.

G spot location

The g spot/ female prostate is described as a pea, bean or quarter sized mass of nerve tissue located in the anterior or front wall of the vagina. The area is between the pubic bone and the ureter, which is connected to the bladder. The location and size of the spot vary, however the area for most women seems to be located 1-3 inches inside of the vagina towards the belly button or front wall of the vagina. It is surrounded by tissue deep within the vaginal wall and is close to the tip of the cervix.

How to find your G spot

Lay on your back with your legs lifted up and your knees bent ( use one to two pillows under the small of your back to tilt the pelvis more toward you). Reach down with your hand and insert your lubricated index and middle fingers into your vagina. Press the other hand on top of the lower abdomen ( area under the belly button) at the same time press up against your pubic bone, rounding and pressing the fingers firmly against the wall.

Move the fingers around the wall going side to side and up and down the front wall of the vagina . Continue pressing up with the fingers inside and down into bladder area with the hand on the lower belly. You can apply firmer pressure to stimulate the area by simulating penis style sex or rubbing the wall in a circular firm pressure. You may actually feel the area start to swell as you firmly press. You may feel a sensation like you have to urinate (because it is in close proximity to the bladder) or you may not feel any sensation at all and this is because of lack of stimulation previously as this area rarely if ever has been stimulated before. Over time with continued practice and stimulation the area will gain more sensitivity because of the increase in blood flow.

Vaginal / G spot orgasms

A g spot orgasm is various combinations of emotional, psychological, physiological uncontrollable muscular responses. The ejaculation from these orgasms can vary according to the woman and even then with a women it is unpredictable how intense an orgasm may be. The first time you really stimulate your g-spot you might feel like you have to urinate. It is recommended that to lessen this feeling you should urinate prior to sex or g spot stimulation. Until you become used to g spot stimulation I recommend emptying your bladder previous to stimulation. The area tends to swell somewhat similar to the erectile tissue of the male genitalia (penis). With this in mind remember that when you first start to explore your g-spot area don’t give up on finding it. With practice and patience you will find your g spot area, it will increase in feeling, giving you multiple sensations and waves of pleasure. You will get the spot to the point where it will be responsive even if at first you feel nothing. G spot Orgasms are practically paralyzing in intensity. It usually takes a lot more work to achieve an orgasm through stimulation of the g-spot. The orgasm is more intense and can last for a longer period of time. Anywhere from 20 seconds to well over a minute. If the g-spot is stimulated in the right ways again you can achieve more orgasms which has developed the saying multiple orgasms. I would describe most of them as wave after wave of intense pleasure. By stimulating for a long period you can increase the amount of fluid build up as well as the pressure.

G Spot Orgasm Techniques

I like to masturbate on the toilet with a full bladder. Then when I am about to orgasm I pull out my fingers or g spot stimulator and let the urine flow as I contract the pelvic floor muscles. This increases the pressure build up, by stopping the flow of urine, contracting and releasing the fluid slowly extends the length and strength of the orgasm. I am often left feeling like I have no energy to continue but I know I have to if I want to have multiple orgasms.

“Doggy Style” or female on top “missionary position” are great techniques to stimulate the g spot during sex. The techniques that follow are great ways of finding and awakening your g spot with the help of someone else.
*Get on your hands and knees place two or more pillows under your belly. Have your partner come from behind and gently slide their fingers inside of your vagina palm down fingers slightly curved. have them press towards your vagina so they stimulate the area described above. Position yourself so you can press vagina against their fingers and palm .
*Lay on your back place a pillow or two under the small of your back elevating your hips. Have your partner insert their fingers palm up and press up towards your belly. Moving the fingers in and out continuing to press up against the vaginal wall.

Ejaculation and Squirting

The ability to squirt when you ejaculate is left to your genes. Some woman can ejaculate and some women can not. The ability to squirt or ejaculate is believed to be dependant on the size of your female prostate gland. The study described above done on 14 women showed that 12 of the women had a female prostate and 2 of them did not. This helps explain a bit of the the phenomena of ejaculating and the ability to squirt. and why not all women are capable. You must have a female prostate to contain the fluid and if you do have one, how large it is and how much fluid it is capable of expelling is key to actually being able to ejaculate the fluid outside of the vagina. Studies have shown that women that can squirt or ejaculate, have up to 50% more fluid being secreted by the female skene’s glands/ female prostate. In spite of the studies done, It is believed that a large percentage of the videos and movies being advertised on the internet are fakes. The ability for a female to ejaculate is not as common as many of the porn videos would allow you to believe. Often time fluid is introduced into the vagina and then through vaginal contractions the woman expells it for the camera

Is it cum or urine?

The fluid ejaculated from females have been tested on several occasions and was found to have traces of urine in some cases, and a lot of urine content in other cases. Other studies have found that some women do suffer from urinary incontinence, due to the pressure on vaginal wall during sex or masturbation and contractions and pressure put on the bladder during an orgasm can expell that urine. Females can also have a milky type cum or clear slick cum depending on the type of orgasm and whether or not the female is ovulating. Ovulating can make the secretion thicker and stickier and the fluid can be more salty tasting. Usually with g spot orgasm the ejaculation tends to be a sweet smelling thin fluid that does not seem to stain or smell like urine.
